The grant will provide students with hands-on suture practice kits, allowing them to develop real-world clinical skills while engaging in career-focused learning experiences that prepare them for future opportunities in healthcare. The resources will support students as they build confidence and technical skills in a practical, classroom-based setting.

Through this grant, students gain meaningful exposure to medical procedures and healthcare pathways, reinforcing FISD’s commitment to innovative, career-connected learning experiences that equip students for success beyond graduation.

The Friendswood Education Foundation extends its deepest gratitude to the Montz family for their continued generosity in honoring Kimberly’s passion for education and her unwavering love for Friendswood ISD. Her legacy continues to make a lasting impact in classrooms and in the lives of students across the district. Community members are invited to continue Kimberly Montz’s legacy of giving by supporting the Kimberly Montz Memorial Grant Fund.
